Another had accumulated 180,000 customers, and when asked where the records were, was told that they were in boxes in a shipping container.
Another said that they had 2 million customers but 6 million customer records.
Another alarming story was being told by a company that it did not require anymore new customers because the existing ones were locked in.When putting new customers into the CRM systems was an eye opener. It was so badly implemented it took up over 50% of the day just to keep it up to date.

There is a way forward; a process interrogation should quickly reveal the blind spots to management.
